Amazing and mind blowing. Its hard to believe that its been to Antarctica and its over 100 years old. Its so well maintained.-quote from 8.5 year old son.

If you are in Dundee and at interested in exploration or things nautical then this is a must see. The exhibition is very well done containing artifacts and great use of multimedia. The story of this ship and it's adventurers , followed by a walk round cannot but inspire awe . It's next door to the new V&A which is free.

Have visited the Discovery several times and love it. The exhibition areas are excellent and very interesting. There's lots to see, and several hands on and interactive activities to keep children amused and interested. Probably more to see and do here than its new next-door neighbour. Definitely worth a visit. Today we went in about 3.45 for something to eat. A member of staff acknowledged us, then disappeared. We made our selections, then waited and waited on someone to take our order. No one arrived, so we left.

Wow!!! That ship is awesome in every way. I have tickets for the whole year. I can.t w8 to go and take some more pictures. 11 for each person (adult) for one visit. In order to feel the "vibe" of that time, the museum restored nearly everything and you have access in almost every corner of the boat. They also arranged mannequins to better present a ordinary day of the staff on the boat. You can see where the workers spend their little free time , or the food they eat and you can also see where the captain and the higher class spent their time and how each of them slept and so on. If you have any trip to Dundee the Discovery tour is a MUST. Enjoy.

A very interesting place to spend an afternoon. Far more to see than I ever expected. Well worth the money. Highly recommend it.
