Really enjoyed our meal here, lovely place! Only downside is it doesn't have an alcohol licence but you can byob (we never knew this till we were there but didn't bother us!)Tio....bring your own booze!
Decent Indian (Pakistani to be accurate) restaurant. Extensive menu. Large portions, so go hungry. Not licensed but you can BYOB and there is no corkage.
After Pub Curry HouseSpur of the moment decision to go for a curry on a Saturday evening. On the plus side we did not need to book. Inside was not the most aesthetically appealing; all a bit run down, and set up more like a canteen than a restaurant. This is an old church so wooden pillars and other fixtures remain. Grubby voile curtains were draped between areas and strung up with string tied round the posts.Several people, a little worse for the wear, mindlessly shovelling food into themselves. All four of us ordered different dishes, what arrived looked like 4 plates of absolutely identical food, and tasted like 4 of the same.The maitre d was loud, a touch cheeky and contemptuous. 4 main courses and a soft drink each, 65.Well not be back. But as an after pub, booze munchies establishment, where no booking is required, this has its place.
Went there for my nephew wedding the restaurant was really nice the atmosphere was wonderful staff was good and everything was clean and hygienic and we all enjoyed ourselves very very much
Great curry, however they no longer have a liquor licence (you can bring your own), but the non alcoholic beer I had was not very palatable. Much prefer a pint of Tiger with my meal and there plenty of other Indian restaurants with licences.
