Modern take on the original Deep Sea Restaurant. Really, really good fish and chips, worth every penny. Great staff too which always adds to the visit.
If you like fish this is the place to go. Real quality fish in big platefuls. All the usual stuff but in quantity and quality that is good for the price. Interesting decor in the subterranean restaurant. Lots of tiles and industrial style fitting.
Very good value for very good fish. Decent choice of drinks with some nice craft ales and good wines. Well worth a visit.
Surprisingly good...scallops and black pudding, hot smoked salmon as starters both very good and fish and chips for mains.Laid back service unpretentious, good value.
Fantastic. The chips were freshly cooked as was the fish and I had a short chat with the owner who told me a bit of the history his family and that the fish today was excellent and he was not wrong. Of course why would he be considering his own pedigree. Dundee and St. Andrews are very lucky to have these family run restaurants. I'll be back.
