Booked car in for mot and service and was told it would take 2 hours and just to wait(so went And did Christmas shopping) came back and sat for 45 minutes for them to say it needs a cv boot, I asked why they didnt call me to tell me if it needed a repair, they said they wanted to carry out the service as well( every garage Ive used call you straight away and tell you if its needs something fixed when getting an mot) was then told they had to order the part and then when it arrived was told the mechanic will try and fit it before his lunch as it was now 12:10 and his lunch is 12:30 and was then told it will have to be re- mot again after 13:00, Ive been here since 08:00, will never use them again
I ended up not purchasing the car I was looking at today, as I found a vehicle I preferred elsewhere. However, it is worth putting on record that my contact man, Conor, was exceptionally patient and helpful in trying to get me a decent deal. Thanks to him for his friendly efforts, and to Stefan who was a very pleasant test drive companion. One star short was not a reflection on the staff, but because if you want to look at different vehicles they might all be in different places in the various compounds, resulting in delays. Thanks for your efforts today and yesterday.

Never in my wildest dreams would I thought I would ever be writing a complementary post about a car dealership, but the way Kevin handled our recent purchase was inspiring. Very detail oriented and at no time was I ever felt like wool was being pulled over the eyes - entirely professional, courteous, and completely transparent. Dealt with us over the phone and followed up with calls very promptly, arranging our deal to be made at a convenient time. Bit of quality banter too, which always eases the pain of buying a car.
Very competitive prices that are hard to beat for sure but be aware that one you leave the show room you are not welcome back untill your next purchase.Such a shame there is just no after sales service at all!Arnold Clark could easily be top of the charts if they just sacrificed a fraction of that profit to give even a little after sales service.
