Top class for customer service

In November my car was booked into Dundee Audi for a fault ( a number of warning lights appeared on starting and the engine was struggling to fire up. As I required a loan vehicle to do my job the first date the garage could give the leasing company was 8 am on the 5th of December. I arrived on time to find I was neither expected nor was there a loan car for me. After a call from the service department to the leasing company the garage agreed it had made an error and had failed to book my car in at the time the leasing company arranged , in fairness the service team said if I waited they would try to get a car from one of the sales staff alternatively the next date they could give me for a loan car was ten days away. I agreed to wait and left the garage a hour after arrival. Later the same day the garage phoned to say they had discovered the problem was a faulty battery ( the car is about 18 months old) and there was a back log for new batteries of two to three weeks therefore could l arrange to collect my car ... When I collected the car I asked if the car was safe to drive ( due the amount of warning lights that were coming on due no doubt to the lack of battery power) and I asked if the car would not just fail to start . I was assured it would be safe until the new battery arrived in two to three weeks time. I reiterated this was my busiest time of the year with my work and my car needed to be reliable. I left the garage and ten days later the car failed to start . I contacted Audi Assist who arranged recovery but the recovery vehicle could not collect the vehicle as Dundee Audi was not open to accept it therefore it needed to be rearranged for the next day. Audi Assist were excellent and arranged another car to be delivered the next day and this is what I have been using until today. Between the time of my initial visit to the garage and the voice mail left to say my car was ready for collection ( over two weeks ) I heard nothing from the garage by way of an update even after my car arrived back in their garage on a transporter. My understanding now is that a large batch of batteries have been damaged during the car manufacturing stage and this is part of the reason there is a back log for new batteries . Whilst I accept that problems do occur in any business it is the way they are handled that keeps your customer . If you look at the process from start to finish with my visit to Dundee Audi with this incident I would not say it has been a wonderful experience nor do I feel I am a valued customer. The three stars I have given for this review are for Audi Assist who were excellent. I did ask to speak to the service manager when I called to collect my car but unfortunately he was on holiday..In my opinion as the fault was a manufacturing one and there was every reason to suspect the car would fail me the garage should have arranged a loan car for me back on the 5th of December .

Fabulous, well worth the journey through from Glasgow!I bought a used Audi here six months ago and had a very good experience then, however a few months later there was a problem with the car. After I made them aware of this, they went above and beyond to fix it and all the staff have been professional, friendly and courteous throughout, particularly Aaron who was a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly try and use them again in future and would definitely recommend them.

Professional and friendly staff. Stuart McDonald helped me to choose the appropriate car , he answered all my questions, he was very helpful . I enjoy my new A3. Highly recommended

Second To None customer Service. Always greeted with a friendly face. Will definitely be back for my next audi purchase
