Very busy on weekends, the events are often good so aim for them
Not so cheap... food a bit naff Ordered a bucket of wings 3.50 and was served 4 measly wings so small as my thumb, in a tiny paper cup ... would have complained if I hadnt already waited ten mins to order and ten mins for the wings and the queue wasnt still huge cos of rugby on TV, jeez!!
What can i say? Always a great night out gutting when the pool tables are out of order though.
Best union in Scotland, one of the best in Britain. Two nightclubs, two bars, a cafe and a lunch shop, you can't go wrong.
They say they host events open to the public, but then try to refuse you entry unless you are a student or there with a student. If that is the case then shouldn't advertise external events without that clearly stipulated on the ticket. A manager let us in eventually, as she knew we had the right to entry without a student due to the event. Otherwise, it is a large venue with lots of different rooms for many types of events. The general staff are nice and safety of everyone is clearly a priority.
