I got a bouquet of flowers for my mother. Only had 25 pounds to spend and got more than I was expecting and certainly better than flowers from all leading supermarkets. Will definitely be back
I have always used flowers at dawn for flowers over the years and have always had good experiences. However, on my wedding day i was left disappointed by my flowers in general and completely let down, of all days to be let down. I had my consultation with Jodie who was lovely and it went well. She looked like she was writing everything down and I got my rough quote for my wedding flowers . Unfortunatly, nearer the wedding I was told she could not do my flowers but another staff member would do them . This is where i think there must have been a mix of up of some sort , or lack of communication as they did not deliver the correct amount of flowers for my bridal party on the morning of the wedding. They delivered 1 bouquet of flowers for myself the bride and 1 bouquet for 1 bridesmaid .I had 3 bridesmaids so how I would only order one bouquet of flowers is beyond me, this just would not happen. No bride would do that. I was actually excited to see my flowers but when they arrived I was disappointed . They weren't exactly what I asked for . Both bouquets weren't as green as i had asked and they added nude flowers to my bouquet which I had said i didnt want them added if they were going to look yellow agaist my white flowers. Ofcourse they were added anyways , and all i could see was yellow!!! I was instantly gutted !! . Anyways this was the least of my worries when we didn't have enough bouquets of flowers. My amazing wedding coordinator at Craigsanquhar House was straight on the phone to let them know. Flowers at Dawn were extremely rude to Katy on the phone and were soo unhelpful. They took no responsibility for the mix up and said it was all my fault . I only asked for one bridesmaid bouquet . They were not prepared to help sort out the problem either .Their customer service was shocking and the attitude from staff was disgusting . I couldn't believe it when Katy told me about the conversations had. I was prepared to pay for 2 more bouquets of flowers as I just wanted all my bridesmaids to have the same flowers but they were rude and were not prepared in any way to help us out . My quote i was given and my final balance was not far off so i didnt question anything . Ofcourse i thought they had my order correct. And i still dont understand how it could have been my fault when prices were so similar ! What Shocking customer service!! No apology was given, not on the day or even after the wedding. I will never use them again for flowers which is a shame as I was a loyal customer to them . My friends and family are hugely disappointed and are loyal customers also but again we will go else where now as we have all seen this business in a different light, and are disgusted by their rudeness and unhelpful attitudies. Being helpful and polite in such situation would have spoken volumes, a small apology for the mistake would have went a long way. Maybe I would still have continued to be a customer as mistakes happen . Instead I have been left with nothing but a bad experience! Give custom to business who are polite and helpful in Dundee there are plenty more florists out there who would never treat their customers how I was treated on my wedding day.
