Been going to this store for as long as I can remember when moving to the area back in December 2006 & to be fair the stuff you get in this store isn't bad at all, though it could be better.But the reason for only 2 stars is down to the rudeness of some of the staff. The stereotyping of young people like myself being judged to be thieves & troublemakers only because we wear certain types of clothing. The abruptness of the staff who act in a unprofessional manner if you so much as accidentally get in their way in the store or do something they deem on purpose & get back at you for. The list goes on there, but saying that there are a few nice ones there too. The conning prices also is a swis with the store also as they seem content on selling items separately instead of in there boxes. I've caught them in Asda & Morrison's taking big multi packs of Crisps & chocolate bars!But another thing I'm really annoyed at the most with this place is the sell by dates. These people seem to be very negligent on their items sell by's & I urge anyone seeing this review to watch out as there have been times I bought a few items that have been near enough 5 months out of date on the sell by code! Another thing to watch for is the orange pricing labels, if the price on those labels is cheap & at a price where it is too good to be true, check the sell by as these greedy money hungry gits will try selling the items off at cut rate prices not to mention selling say 4 Snickers Bars for 1, something I fell for until tasting one of the bars & checked that the sell by was March this year, I bought the bars back in June! The contents will taste off but checking the sell by's on these items is a must with this store!Overall, not a good place, but ok if you're wanting to by something quickly & on the cheap, but watch out for the conning prices, sell by's & the rudeness of some of the staff!
I hate to say it but the staff in this store are really something else. Rude, aggressive, racist and more worryingly completely inept at dealing with the public in a professional manner. I hate how they treat the post office lady, I post a lot here and how they ignore her, or speak to her like she's below them is a sad thing to witness. Seriously the worst attitudes on staff I've ever seen.
Shopped here alot, wont anymore and will tell all my friends not to go here either, shame cause its handy but willing to travel to another shop to avoid going back in here. very rude, aggressive, unhelpful, dreadful excuse for a human being family member works here, puts everyone else to shame but the others didnt come forward and tell him he was out of order. shame on all of you, keep the faulty goods and my money i dont care but you will now i have reported you to trading standards, i should be reporting you as an unfit and proper person to sell goods the way you behaved today, plenty of witnesses though.
I find the staff in this shop to be extremely rude and unfriendly. I have been present when staff have surrounded unhappy customers and been abusive and intimidating to them and more or less man handled them out of the shop. I wont be returning.
